DAY (11) One Segment a Day eL Torrito Strava Challenge

Day (11)  Strava Segment Title:  eL Torrito - 1Seg A Day Challenge - TW.Sprint11 Day 11:  Today’s segment was an uphill sprint and about 8.6 miles. This one may be one of my all-time favorites. I like to choose segments that cut through parks or trails and are pretty long, so nobody is tempted to ruin it by driving them in a car, or accidentally leaving their Strava on record while heading home.  I crashed on my morning ride today. I purchased a new bike, and the gentlemen I had purchased it from decided he would shine the tires up nice with tire shine. That was a bad idea because into a pretty tight turn at the top of the wash i went down. Luckily, I am okay. Let's look and see the segment for Day 11!   Content from our affiliates:

Day (10) Strava Segment Title:  eL Torrito - 1Seg A Day Challenge - TW.Sprint10 Day 10:  This morning I rode with my morning group. Well I guess I rode with the only two guys that didn't go on the Saints to Sinners event. This morning group is truly a big influence on why I am a cyclist. Do you have a ride that you train for during the year that is now an annual event you go to? This challenge segment is a DH and a bit longer than the usual segments. I try to keep them long and cut through an area where a car can’t drive. I have seen alot of good segments go to waste due to them being driven or someone forgetting their recording and drive across town. I mean come on… we have all done it right? Day (9) Strava Segment Title: eL Torrito - 1Seg A Day Challenge - TW.Sprint9 Day 9: Today’s segment was a tough uphill battle for me due to the wind constantly changing direction and the humidity. It felt like I couldn't adjust to the heat and wind but I tried my best to get a good time for the segment.  I feel that I am not getting the recovery I need each day on these rides. Do you have a routine or ritual that you use to recover? Let me know what you do in recovery because I am in desperate need of knowledge regarding recovery. I dont feel like my body is getting the recovery it needs each day. What are some methods you use to recovery? Let's look and see the segment for Day 9! CHECK OUT BIKES ONLINE! Day (8) Strava Segment Title:  eL Torrito - 1Seg A Day Challenge - TW.Sprint8 Day 8:  Here we are at day 8 already! It's been fun creating these segments and reading the e-mails. Day 8 segment will be an uphill segment due to the e-mail requests to see uphill segments. I was told that progress data through the Strava app is only on uphill segments as well. We can see results as we get some uphill segments in. I went on a date with my sweetheart last night. We went to our favorite nacho spot in town. I don’t think I've tried anything on their menu that wasn’t good. Do you have a favorite place to eat with your sweetheart? Let me know in the comments or e-mail us! @ hashtagz.enterprises@icloud.com... Let's look and see the segment for Day 8!   AFFILIATES:

Day (7)  Strava Segment Title:  eL Torrito - 1Seg A Day Challenge - TW.Sprint7 Day 7:  Well, here we are now. Day 7 of the segment challenge and we still don’t have any takers on these segments. There are some saying that these segments are too long. When I had set out to do the segment challenge, I wanted the segments to be challenging. I felt at the time that there were too many segments being created that were too short or not created to be challenging. Its too easy to just sprint on a segment for 15 to 30 seconds. The feeling of being KOM on a 3 to 5-minute segment is incredible. So, for a segment challenge with segments 30 to 40 minutes long is challenging, but the feeling of completing it and comparing results is what we are looking for here. If you want to see more segments generated within 5 to 10 minutes each segment, then let me know in the comments or in e-mail as you have been doing. You must have a google account create to comment though. I will make D...

Now I guess you get what you ask for and be grateful for this one due to the fact I did this in 105-degree Las Vegas Heat!!! Also, I pushed hard to do well on this segment. It will be tough for others to beat and be a segment for a long time on Strava. Let's look and see the segment for Day 6!   Content from our affiliates:

Day (5) Strava Segment Title:  eL Torrito - 1Seg A Day Challenge - TW.Sprint5 Day 5:  It's day 5! We have only 10 more segments to go after today! This has been fun generating these segment challenges and getting feedback. I have my son currently playing for the Little League All Star team here in Nevada, and they are about to take the State Championship and go on to Regional. I am praying that they do due t it being a once in a lifetime opportunity for him and myself as a father to experience. You can track their progress @  https://www.mrll.org/   Today I passed my usual morning group on my ride. I promised to do a ride with them next Friday, but that is if My son's All-Star Team does not make it to the National tournaments, because I will be in San Jose, CA for the games. This morning group are an amazing group of individuals that have been a huge influen...
